This is run by our cardio kickboxing instructor Liam Dale. A highly experienced martial arts teacher with over forty years practice, Liam is also a certified Yoga meditation teacher having spent years studying and immersing himself in the energy gathering and meditation systems of Chinese martial culture and Indian yogic traditions.
The class will be composed of a series of mindful, precise moves and postures and will also include a seated breathwork session. This works to establish a sense of calm, increased awareness, and focus - which over time can also deepen into a more dynamic full body health promoting practice.
Meditation also promotes overall bodily health, with studies showing that regular practice can produce a positive effect on many ailments such as high blood pressure, depression, low mood, stress, and anxiety.
